The addition of extra water to the shampooing and conditioning steps has changed the way my hair receives the needed treatment from those products, especially with the conditioning step. Now, when I comb the conditioner through my wet locks, I notice that it goes much smoother and my hair feels like every strand was conditioned. So blessed to be one of Kellie’s clients and grateful for all of the hair coaching she is willing to share!!
I have found Kellie’s method of using water as a conduit for hair products very beneficial. When washing my hair she suggested that I put a small amount of conditioner on the ends of my wet hair, then ad shampoo and a quick spray of water to help the shampoo lather up. After rinsing the shampoo out, my hair should be dripping wet when I apply the conditioner so it is evenly distributed. After I wash my hair she suggested keeping it very wet while applying hair products so I can work it throughout my hair rather than just coating the top of the hair. I find this method of using water with my hair products to be a more effective way to evenly distribute product through my hair. I have found that I do not need to use as much product and my hair turns out smoother and shinier.

The first day I sat in Kellie's chair she began my education of hair fibers. I learned how she considers the shape of my head, the condition of the fibers and the best design for the cut. She talked to me about the use of water to affect product and shape. I watched as she cut a little bit here and a little bit there working the layers and fibers into my new look.
